My art
My work was born from a raw need: to make the invisible visible, to bring out deep emotions, states of transition, or inner tensions through matter. As a self-taught artist, I didn't learn to represent according to codes: I learned to evoke, engrave, and reveal.
Each work is a trace of a mental or spiritual moment . I explore the way in which humans experience ruptures, bursts of consciousness, shifts in identity. It is an intuitive but precise approach, where the gesture often comes before the meaning, then the meaning emerges, slowly, in the texture or the void.
Emotional abstraction
Shapes and colors used to express inner states and deep emotions rather than to represent reality.
Introspective symbolism
Frequent use of abstract symbols, engraved lines, and complex textures to invite the viewer into introspective exploration.
Emotion as raw material
Each work translates sensations, tensions or personal psychological experiences, allowing the viewer to connect intimately with the emotions conveyed.
Texture and depth
Techniques such as wood engraving and the application of textured materials (putty, structuring paste, stones, rags, fabric, etc.) to accentuate the tactile and visual dimension of emotions.
Evocative color palette
Choice of vibrant or nuanced colors according to their emotional power, subtly expressing different psychological states or internal atmospheres.
Open dialogue with the viewer
The intention is not to fix a single meaning, but to open an emotional dialogue, inviting everyone to interpret the work through their own feelings.
